Capture NX v2.0 Released
Alright boys and girls, Capture NX v2.0 has now landed. Prime your downloads. Unfortunately it won’t be available for sale until the end of June, but there is a 60-day trial on the Nikon website. I will put the next few batches of photos through the tool and see how well it compares to the current version. Stay tuned.
Must say that unless it’s streets ahead of Photoshop or Lightroom I won’t upgrade my current 1.3.1 version. It seems strange that here in the UK the upgrade cost is around 16% more than elsewhere – odd.
Well as far as I can see from my limited testing, it is significantly better than v1.3. It isn’t quite in the same league as Lightroom when it comes to organizational features, but it does deliver a better picture. The interface is still very clunky and nowhere near what Lightroom offers. However, I really like some of the new featurse and am probably going to get it.
